NUTRITION: (aka: eat right, or why bother)
Definition: Nutrition- [noo-trish-uhn] is defined as the sum of the processes by which an animal or plant takes in and utilizes food substances.
The expression goes like this, "You Are What You Eat".
Diet (not the fads) plays an important role in a person’s health, appearance, energy and performance as well as affecting results from exercise and overall well-being. The general rule about nutrition is that the more energy you burn then take in (consume) will likely lead to proper weight loss and control. Proper intake of sustenance will also allow for appropriate weight gains too.
The food you eat directly affects the quality of your life. Years of studies have shown that eating high quality foods will greatly reduce the risk and possibility of developing a variety of serious health ailments. High quality foods along with PROVEN SUPPLIMENTS (WILL) assist in lowering fat stores, losing weight, increase energy levels, recovery from workouts, and maintaining, healthy bones, muscles and joints.
Supplimentation and eating well also reduces the feelings of depression, sadness and anxiety while promoting psychological well-being, improving your appearance and performance. Your body does not run on exercise. It runs on the fuel you put into your mouth.
Maintaining a healthy and balanced diet designed to support your individualized training program is an integral part of realizing your fitness goals. There is NO compromising in the professional arena but there is some room for a few favorites in the unprofessional side of training. This said, if you are dedicated about taking your training seriously then you have to make every effort to stick to a more professional subsistence state of mind.
By combining the proper nutrition and training program with proper amounts of sleep, your training experience will propel you into the best shape of your life. If you continue eating the wrong foods, you will still see results and get fit but you will not look the part.
My nutrition plan is comprehensive yet simple to follow as you will have ample varieties of foods to choose from. My program isn't about restricting calories or crash diets (which by the way, DO NOT work). It is about making proper food choices which fuel your body to achieve maximum performance. This program requires that you make no compromises or excuses.
